Born in Boston July 21 1925. Tom Cataldo is a retired USA Navy Veteran.
At age 5 he Started saving lives, after hearing Lincoln say it was the greatest thing one could do in life, by making pocket walkie-talkies for the Boston fire department.
At age 15 he started school at MIT and also started working at their Radiation Lab as one of the small group that developed the disparity needed navigation system {LORAN} to get supplies and troops to England. This saved the lives of thousands of British and American lives as the Nazi sabs were sinking 1/3 of all ships.
After getting his 2nd engineering degree at Tufts, he was hired by Westinghouse Int'l where he developed and marketed life supporting/saving products for several 3rd world countries. At the same time Tom obtained an MBA at New York University ...evenings.
After 8 years at Westinghouse he started several companies wherein he developed and patented many new-to-market products...most famous, Medic alert, and now the Children's Home Vision Test Kit that is enabling parents to screen their preschoolers at home professionally. It's fun, free and it is saving lives [eye cancer] and preventing lifelong legal blindness...a very common problem he has lived with for his entire 96 years.
