Multi-award winning comedian and filmmaker Steven Alan Green is part of the original Comedy Store stable of comedians and writers. New York born and Hollywood raised, Steven has written jokes for Jay Leno, Arsenio Hall, Roseanne Barr and Jimmy Walker.
His trademark “farewell performances only” stand-up act garnered him great attention on the London comedy scene throughout the Nineties. In 2002 Steven created and produced the first of 3 “High On Laughter” comedy galas which benefitted a drug and alcohol charity launched by Princess Diana.
The 3rd and last one took place at The London Palladium and featured the best of American and British stand-up comedy and honored comedy icon Jerry Lewis. The events of that evening led to his much lauded one-man show “I Eat People Like YOU for Breakfast!” and interest from Hollywood to develop his life-story into a movie.
Steven has appeared on Conan as an actor and hosted South Park Weekend on Paramount Comedy Channel in England. Steven Alan Green was the voice of American television on the Paramount Comedy Channel in the UK, promoting Everybody Loves Raymond, South Park, and Trailer Park Boys.
In 2007 Steven wrote and directed the multi-award winning short “Little Things”, which he’s currently developing for a feature film.
