The Last City by Steve Blinder on Amazon!

Hi everyone!

My friend Steve Blinder has released a new book on Amazon.Com.

The following is a Blurb about the book.

“The Last City” is the most recent novel by Steve Blinder. Set in 1992 Los Angeles—around the time of the Rodney King Riots— the story centers around a brutal, racially charged murder.

The author takes the reader on an intense psychological journey, wherein a successful white businessman is drawn into life in the streets of gang-infested Compton. The main character is forced to deal with wildly different points of view of his fellow jurors in the ensuing trial—and is challenged to keep from coming unhinged when he realizes that truth or justice is not always black and white.

Though fictional, the story begs serious discussion and questions the values of our society in general, and will even leave the reader examining some of his or her own prejudices. Though set decades ago, when read against the backdrop of the current racial tension and charges of systemic police brutality of today, it has become quite poignant in its timeliness, leaving the reader wondering if we have evolved at all from those dark days.

Besides being entertaining, the novel continually tugs at the readers emotions, while the author offers an uncanny combination of hope and frustration.

Recommended highly as a terrific read, and as fodder for lively book club debates, "The Last City" is currently averaging 5-star reviews!

Now available on Amazon in Paperback & ebook.
